Aver CAM550 Dual Lens Camera

The AVer CAM550 4K Dual Lens PTZ Conference Camera is a professional video conferencing solution designed for medium and large meeting rooms, boardrooms, training facilities, and hybrid collaboration environments. Its innovative dual-lens design combines a motorized PTZ camera with a dedicated AI lens, providing both detailed close-up views and a wide-angle overview of the entire meeting room. Intelligent framing and automated participant detection help create a more engaging meeting experience while reducing the need for manual camera operation.

The primary PTZ lens features a Sony 4K Exmor CMOS image sensor and supports video resolutions up to 4K at 30 frames per second. Its 12× optical zoom and 2× digital zoom provide up to 24× total zoom, allowing users to capture speakers and presentation details clearly. The camera offers a wide 85° diagonal field of view, while motorized pan and tilt controls provide smooth positioning. The secondary 4K AI lens offers a 95° diagonal field of view, continuously monitoring the room to help detect participants and support intelligent camera framing.

The CAM550 features advanced AI capabilities, including Dynamic Framing, SmartFrame, Smart Gallery, and gesture control. Dynamic Framing automatically adjusts the primary camera's view when participants enter or move around the room. Smart Gallery creates individual participant views in headshot or half-body mode, improving visibility for remote attendees. Picture-in-picture functionality allows users to display a close-up speaker view alongside a panoramic room view, while gesture recognition enables convenient hands-free camera control when enabled through compatible software.

For flexible integration, the CAM550 supports simultaneous USB, HDMI, and IP video output. Its USB 3.1 connectivity enables straightforward connection to compatible computers, while Ethernet supports IP streaming and Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) simplifies installation with compatible network equipment. RS-232 and VISCA over IP support integration with professional AV control systems, and AVer PTZApp 2 provides access to camera settings and additional functions. These features make the CAM550 a versatile solution for hybrid meetings, corporate conferencing, and professional collaboration spaces.
