Full-duplex audio allows multiple participants to speak and listen simultaneously, while acoustic echo cancellation and advanced noise suppression help reduce distracting background sounds. Double-talk detection further improves conversations by helping maintain audio clarity when multiple people speak at the same time.

Designed for convenient operation, the FONE540 includes touch controls for volume adjustment, microphone muting, call answering, call termination, and phone input. Bluetooth and USB connectivity provide flexible connection options for compatible devices, while the 3.5 mm auxiliary input allows a smartphone or other audio source to join a conference call. The system can also bridge phone audio and USB audio into a single call, making collaboration more flexible.

For larger meeting spaces, the FONE540 supports daisy-chaining with additional speakerphones and expansion microphones to extend audio coverage. Its Ethernet connection enables IP-based remote access, and compatible AVer software provides device diagnostics and management features.
