Equipped with a 1/2.8-inch Full HD Exmor CMOS image sensor, the PTZ231 captures detailed 1080p video at up to 60 frames per second. Its powerful 30× optical zoom allows users to capture distant speakers, presenters, and stage activities with clarity. Motorized pan and tilt controls provide smooth camera movement, while wide dynamic range, backlight compensation, and 2D/3D noise reduction help maintain balanced image quality in different lighting conditions.

The PTZ231 incorporates AVer's AI-powered SmartShoot and SmartFrame technologies. SmartShoot automatically transitions between predefined preset zones to capture different presentation areas, while SmartFrame adjusts the field of view to include participants in the frame. Voice Tracking is also supported when paired with compatible microphones and the required AVer tracking solution. These features make the camera useful for automated lecture recording, live presentations, and multi-zone event coverage.

Designed for professional AV integration, the PTZ231 supports simultaneous video output through USB, IP, HDMI, and 3G-SDI. NDI® HX3 support enables network-based video production on compatible firmware, while SRT-ready streaming helps maintain reliable transmission over variable network conditions. PoE+ support simplifies installation by allowing power and network connectivity through compatible Ethernet equipment.
