Puritan's Pride Vitamin C - 90 Gummies

Puritan's Pride Vitamin C - 90 Gummies is part of the Puritan's Pride supplement range. As a powerful antioxidant, vitamin C has gained acclaim as a nutrient that may help protect you from various health conditions. If you’re eating a varied diet that includes enough fruits and vegetables, it’s unlikely that you’re deficient in this water-soluble vitamin. However, if you’re supplementing, vitamin C with rose hips may help boost your intake of other nutrients, not just vitamin C. Rose hips contain high amounts of vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid. While vitamin C itself is an antioxidant. it's not the only one found in the nutrient-rich plant. Rose hips are also a source of phenols, flavonoids, ellagic acid, lycopene and vitamin E. As they protect your cells from damage, the additional antioxidants in rose hips may offer protection against serious chronic diseases such as cancer and heart disease.

Vitamin C is essential to many functions in the body and is one of the leading vitamins for immune support and helps fight cell-damaging free radicals. Our product also includes Rose Hips, which help the body absorb and utilize Vitamin C. While vitamin C may not be the cure for the common cold, it's essential for immune function and may help your body fight back against the bug. Rose hips also supports immune health with its antimicrobial and antibacterial activity. The nutrients in the plant may help fight off the bacteria that causes peptic ulcer disease, Helicobacter pylori, and may inhibit some of the bacteria that cause urinary tract infections. Researchers continue looking into the possible benefits of rose hips for other conditions, such as cancer and diabetes, as well as kidney, liver and skin disorders.
